Assuming he would think it a great idea, I told him to get the shovel and work on the driveway. That tired him out quickly, so he moved to the deck out back. He worked on that a bit, enjoying throwing the ice over the side and down to the yard, but then decided he was done with the whole shoveling thing.
This is what I found when I went to get some pictures of him clearing the ice off the deck....
LOL Yep, sounds about right. It's only fun for kids if they are doing it for fun. As soon as it looks like work, they're outa' there :o)
ReplyDeleteHey..I've got some more when he gets through there. lol
ReplyDeleteLOL! I bet he got exhausted from even doing that much!
ReplyDeleteYou would think that living in CO we'd have a ton of snow. Well, not here. Our house is in what they call the banana belt... It's clear and dry! We had a late start to school on Tues but nothing more... My kids wish we had more that's for sure!
ReplyDeleteAt least you have kids at home to get the job started. We have to do the shoveling ourselves. I will say that we have a great neighbor (who works for a construction company) who plows our drive for us. It is 425 feet from the road to the garage door.
ReplyDeleteGuess the fun ended for him lol
